In an exclusive interview with the RBW team, I got the full scoop on what they have cooking for the 4th and it’s a lot more than steak on the grill. Sara Jane from Production said “I find buying your own fireworks and lighting them up pretty exciting. So that's what I'm doing! I’m going down to central NJ for fireworks and BBQ." When I inquired further about the legality of fireworks in New Jersey, she refused further commentary. Sounds like fun SJ, but please be careful!
If you are like Emily Teitel (our newest RBW Sales team member) and you are still not sure what you want to do, here are some legal suggestions from our other RBW employees. Olivia Sholler from Sales said she will probably ride her bike around Brooklyn and do some roof parties. “I know there are a bunch of good dance things happening” says Olivia, and she shared this link with us.
Theo Richardson, one of the Founders and Designers at RBW expressed “NYC & boroughs can be tough for travel.” So staying local and grilling some good organic grass-fed grub with neighbors is his relaxing way to spend the day.
My favorite July 4th plan came from Calvin Rocchio, the Cal Man. He is going to take the LIRR along with his bike (you can purchase a bike permit with your ticket) to Montauk. There he will enjoy a sweet ride around town and indulge in some lobster rolls.
Me? I’m going to the beach. LIRR to Long Beach… or I might just tag along with Calvin.
Have a Happy & Safe 4th of July!
